Regions Bank and the Big Game

Tomorrow Sat Sept 19th I will be face painting at Regions Bank’s Customer Appreciation Day in Mount Dora from 11-2. Come down and get your face painted for free and enter contests for prizes and see what kind of other entertainment and food is there!

Saturday afternoon I will be painting at a private Gators Tennessee Football Party, I already got some good pics of the logos for both teams. My sister Kari and I will both be painting for this event that is said to have over 200 people in attendance!

We had a great time, as usual. I have been going to Fontana Village, NC since 1980 the year I was born and I love it. It is in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park on US 129

I was so happy to be called upon to do a mural for a friend of a friend. Here are some of the pics. I think I really captured the Charles Shultz essence. I am for hire, if anyone else is looking for Mural work in Lake County, Orlando Area or Central Florida Fl.

Black Swallowtail Butterflies eat Fennel, Parsley, etc.

So I do garden a bit, I am just learning how to care for plants and make them grow so I can attract butterflies to lay eggs, hatch into caterpillars and eat the whole thing! Its great actually. I love what I get in return, a chance to watch the butterfly’s life cycle with the kids.

They puff out their tubercles when they are in danger, it emits a bad odor, protects from birds, etc.
